Support the Centre For Newcomers with Swish

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. We’ve partnered with the Centre for Newcomers to support families in need this holiday season. Swish is collecting donations of winter clothing items from December 5 - 22. For each item donated, you’ll be entered to win prizes from the Swish shop.

About the Centre for Newcomers

Since 1988 the Centre for Newcomers (CFN) has been a key resource for immigrants and refugees of all nationalities in Calgary. A social profit organization, CFN views the integration of newcomers as a two-way process of experience, influence and impact between newcomers and the communities that welcome them. CFN has just launched their annual Adopt-A-Family Campaign to support newcomer families from Ukraine, Afghanistan and all around the world.

Swish is accepting clean, gently-worn winter items for all ages, genders, and sizes, including:

• Sweaters and winter clothing
• Winter jackets and parkas
• Snow pants
• Scarves
• Gloves and mittens
• Boots and other winter appropriate footwear

Donations will be accepted during opening hours at our clinic. Stop by and enter your name:

• Monday – Tuesday: 11 AM – 7 PM
• Thursday: 9 AM – 5 PM
• Friday: 8 AM – 4 PM
